200HR TEACHER TRAINING - SPRING 2019
I was very lucky to be invited to lead teacher trainings very early on in my career and have now lead three teacher trainings for Yoga Professionals and YMCA Fit - the school that I first trained with to become a certified yoga teacher. I love every moment of trainings as we collectively delve into the depths of this practice from history and philosophy studies to physical practice, meditation and interactive anatomy and physiology study. While I have loved travelling to Bristol to lead these trainings, I feel passionate about offering something of my own here in West Wales where there are very few schools. Having attended two trainings myself and having to travel to London each time, I am excited to offer a full face to face 200 hour training over 8 weekends to offer as much accessibility as possible. I have tried to create something high quality, in depth and affordable. 2020 will be the second training here in West Wales...
I have written and designed my own manual to cover a wide spectrum of this practice starting at the very beginning as we explore the meanings of yoga and its history up to modern day popular schools and styles. We will explore the 8 limbed path of raja yoga and other paths beyond this with guest teachers sharing their paths as part of the training.
The name Kali Chandra is inspired by a tantric lineage which will be another area of exploration on this training. On completing this course you will be armed with the skills to go out and teach your own yoga classes, workshops and retreats, certified by the Independent Yoga Network.
I can email out more details of weekend to weekend study if required.
This training is £1250 and can be paid in three instalments by arrangement upon being accepted onto the course. This fee includes an electronic version of the school manual however there will be an option to buy a printed version for a small fee if required.
